Licensed Resident in Counseling
Jordan received her M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Marymount University. She has clinical experience working with individuals and groups, and primarily works with children, teens, and adults. She utilizes a person-centered and strengths-based approach, incorporating techniques and interventions from cognitive-behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and solution-focused therapy. She recognizes that therapy is not one-size-fits-all and works with her clients in ways that feel most appropriate and effective for their specific needs. Jordan helps clients manage depression, anxiety, emotional-regulation, communication skills, OCD, stress, self-esteem, life transitions, relationships, self-harm and suicidal ideation, and various other mental health concerns. She believes in creating a safe-space for all clients in which they feel they can be their most authentic selves. Through collaboration, Jordan guides and encourages her clients as they work toward developing a greater understanding of themselves and uncovering solutions for issues affecting their lives.
