Rates & Insurance
Using Insurance
Empowerment Therapy Center works with a number of insurance plans. Participation may vary by clinician, service, and individual plan.
Before your first appointment, we recommend confirming your benefits directly with your insurance company. Important questions may include:
Is Empowerment Therapy Center in network with my specific plan?
Is the clinician I am considering in network?
Do I have a deductible?
What is my copay or coinsurance?
Is prior authorization required?
Are telehealth services covered?
Are there limits on the number or type of visits covered?
Our administrative team may assist with insurance verification, but verification is not a guarantee of payment or coverage.

Please provide accurate, current insurance information and let us know promptly if your coverage changes.

Your Right to a Good Faith Estimate
If you are uninsured or choose not to use insurance, you may be entitled to receive a Good Faith Estimate of the expected charges for your care.
A Good Faith Estimate is based on the information available when it is prepared. Your actual treatment frequency, duration, or services may change depending on your clinical needs.
Receiving an estimate does not require you to receive services from Empowerment Therapy Center.
Read the Full Good Faith Estimate Notice:
Notice to Clients and Prospective Clients
Under the law, health care providers need to give clients who don't have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services. You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services. You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service, or at any time during treatment. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, or how to dispute a bill, see your Estimate, or visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
Cancellations & Missed Appointments
We understand that schedules change.
Cancellation and missed-session policies may vary by service, program, insurance requirements, or clinician arrangement. Any applicable fees or expectations will be reviewed with you before or at the beginning of services.
Please contact your clinician or our office as soon as possible if you need to change an appointment.
Some groups, classes, and other services may have their own attendance or cancellation policies.
Coverage can be confusing. If you have questions about a plan, clinician participation, or the information we need from you, our administrative team can help you understand the next step.
We can provide information available to us, but your insurance company makes final coverage and benefit decisions.
You are welcome to ask about private-pay options even if you have insurance.
We can explain current rates, available clinicians, and any service-specific fees before you decide how you would like to proceed.
Have Questions Before You Begin?
You do not need to understand every insurance term or payment option before reaching out.
Tell us what type of support you are looking for, and we can help you explore clinician availability, payment options, and the next steps.
